Minnesota

Our fear of having "that kid" on the plane was short lived. We arrived at the Dallas airport with plenty of time to spare. After going through a short line of checking in and a shorter line of security we found ourselves with an hour to kill. Dad went to go find us coffee, I sat down on the floor and starting wearing the kid out so he'd be sleepy on the plane and ready to eat. Our flight that was to leave at 4 was delayed to 4:45 because we had to wait for people coming out of customs so we moaned and groaned and watched as JT scooted across the carpet chasing his shadow. Once on board we sat down and enjoyed an extra seat in between us (Thank you Sun Country!). I started feeding him and he was asleep before the plane even backed away from the gate. He slept for the first hour and woke just in time for the sandwich and cookie delivery. He giggled and smiled, entertaining the people around us and impressing his folks. The only outburst he had was laughter.
